My Story

Hello Folks! I am a Santa that is a bit childish, loves fun and people. There is always room for a little magic and fun with every encounter. Like Santa, I am an eternal optimist with a big heart! -there is joy in being cheerful and upbeat.
In more down to earth less exciting facts, I belong to the New England Santa Society, and the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santa's. I have learned about refining my skills be attending Santa Camp (yes, there is such a thing) and Christmas Performers Workshops.
I can visit your home, organization or business to provide to bring some Christmas spirit and a bit of fun. Being a grandfather has given me the joy of entertaining for all ages!

Some fun facts about Santa Claus

Origins:

  • The legend of Santa Claus is based on the life of Saint Nicholas (Greek for victor of people)  of Myra, Born in A.D. 270 to wealthy parents who served the needs of the sick, which also lead to their early demise. Nicolas used this wealth for anonymous gift-giving.
  •  His anonymous nocturnal gift-giving has continued in many countries to today, including being translated into Santa’s visits.
  • How did I get to be called Santa Claus???  Well,  thanks to a corruption of the Dutch way of referring to him as “Sinterklaas.” The Dutch brought “Sinterklaas” with them to North America in 1621 when they founded New Amsterdam on the tip of Manhattan. English speaking settlers later adapted  the name, which evolved into “Santa Claus.”

Interesting information.

  • My current sleigh, the Mach 38, can reach speeds of 1,800 miles per second!! There are 2.5 Billion children to deliver gifts to...
  • Reindeer: 8 reindeer are needed, and Rudolph is on "Special Teams" and used for some really nasty weather
  • Official pilot’s license! In 1927, the US government officially issued Santa with a pilot’s license! License:
  • In 2013, Mrs. C and I were granted official Canadian e-Passport!
  • Elves... So many elves! These folks work year long making toys for children. Yes, Bernard is still in charge, regardless of what you've seen in TV series.
  • Why "Ho-Ho-Ho"? Well, "Ha-Ha-Ha" would not sound very nice, and may be mistaken for me making fun of someone, be sides, "Ho-Ho-Ho" just rolls out more naturally for me.
  • What did you call me? I have a lot o different names from all around the world. Check this out!
  • Reindeers really like apples for a treat! Carrots can be a bit harsh on their tummy when in the middle of their annual workout! (NO BROCCHOLI, unless you want to be on the naughty list next year)
  •  Where is my sleigh? I get this question a LOT. When you see me before Christmas, my sleigh will still be at the North Pole.. IT IS BIG, and there is no sense in dragging it around when making friendly visits, I have helpers to get me here and there, and some times I use their (painfully slow) vehicles, that have no hot chocolate dispensers (Meh...)
  • Cookies! I love cookies! All kinds of cookies too! You have to know that I cannot eat all of them on one night, BUT I do take them back to the North Pole where they are offloaded from my sleigh, to a cookie vault. The Elves to all of the hauling and Mrs. C?, Well she has the key to the vault. 😒

Some fun facts about Mrs. Claus

Well Folks,

It was about 1830 when I first met Ms. Margaret “Mary” Christmas, who was working as a shoemaker in New York City. Mary was smitten by my cherry nose and full, frost-colored beard. (Who knew?)

It was a long courtship, but in 1859, we finally got married and my life changed forever!

As you can imagine, there are so many activities up here is the North Pole.

Now if you think I can manage all of that, you are mistaken. So, let’s take a moment to recognize Mrs. C.

  • She  manages the naughty and Nice List since 1878!
  • She      has picked up the operational aspects of the North Pole!
  • Decorating      the North Pole
  • Caring      for the Reindeer.
  • Gift      Wrapping.
  • And finally, she has the key to the cookie vault... Yup, the cookie vault. Well, you see, there is no possible way I can eat all of those cookies in one night! I bring some back to the sleigh (the Mach 38 has LOTS of storage), These cookies come back with me to the North Pole, where my Little Jinglebell   (Mrs. C), has the elves haul them off to the cookie vault for safe      storage. Every evening, Mrs. C will go to the vault and choose several      cookies and serves them with milk - Yum!

So, children, next time you see my Little Jinglebell, know that she makes it all possible

While my booking does not include a Mrs. Claus, you may want her at your event!

What Mrs. Claus will enhance a visit from Santa.

  • Mrs. C is fantastic with children who may be a little intimidated when meeting a "Larger than Life" Santa for the first (or second) time.
  • Mrs. C. is also fantastic story teller and singer .
  • She can also engage with larger groups to help divvy up the joy.

If you would like to consider a Mrs. Claus for your event, please contact me. I have affiliations with several folks who are absolutely amazing
